Bilingual Payroll Advisor

Description

  • Conduct research and provide accurate and verifiable information and guidance to corporate team members.
  • Assist in cross training colleagues and respond to customized payroll training requests.
  • Respond to a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails.
  • Facilitate Training seminars and webinars for professional development and corporate training.
  • Update and maintain corporate training programs.
  • Contribute written pieces to publications, periodicals, articles and reports.
  • Maintain company website.
  • Additional relevant Bilingual Payroll Advisor duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Fluency in French and English, written and verbal required (will be tested). 
  • Post secondary Degree or Diploma in a related discipline.
  • Must have Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and have or be enrolled in Payroll Manager Certification (CPM).
  • 7+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist. 
  • Experience in delivering adult education and training.
  • Experience in using an Integrated Management Information System (iMIS).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Superior precision and attention to detail. 
  • Proven ability to professionally handle confidential information.
  • Advanced organizational, coordinative and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively for self and others, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Proven ability to respond to sensitive matters with tact, discretion, and excellent judgement. Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional representation of the organization.
  • Demonstrated successful experience of prioritizing work, making decisions and communicating with others within a values framework of respect, equity, diversity and inclusivity.
  • Ability to commute to and work onsite at our Client's secure, Toronto location.
  • Satisfactory CPIC Criminal Background Check, Accreditation Verification and Employment References.
  • Satisfactory COVID Clearance and completion of Ontario government provided Health and Safety and AODA online courses prior to start.

We offer

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 per annum according to experience + Performance Bonus, RRSP and additional benefits. 

Work Hours: Regular Business Hours with occasional overtime as required.

Work Location: Onsite, at Client's Office Site located on Yonge TTC Line with some across border travel and international travel as required.
