Junior Project Manager

Description

  • Attend weekly meetings with customer representatives to agree and confirm schedule for required works for following week
  • Arrange access for planned and emergency maintenance works
  • Co-ordination and scheduling of planned works and out of scope works for customer covering sites nationwide
  • Updating company trackers submitting weekly and monthly reports to Line manager
  • Materials and spares procurement for scheduled works (liaising directly with suppliers)
  • Compilation and submission of all required health and safety documentation for scheduled works
  • Tracking all site inspections
  • CRQ and task creation when required
  • Reporting/managing issues daily
  • Required to be available to act as On Call Manager / Engineer as per the On-Call Rota.
  • Liaise with VF DNOC and assign tickets on remedy, order parts, submit access and engage engineers to attend site.
  • May be required to audit engineers onsite.
  • This list is not exhaustive and you may be required as and when necessary to cover other team members’ tasks when resources are limited

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in similar environment
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to produce data on spread sheets
  • Experience in Telecoms
  • Displays leadership skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate confidently with employees at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
