Description

  • Own and drive the vision for a defined set of products/solutions to solve customer problems.
  • Help shape our overall product strategy for eCommerce and provide support to product leaders in developing this.
  • Managing the performance of your products in market, using customer feedback and product metrics to ensure that our products continue to meet the needs of customers, while identifying at early stages any enhancements required to meet market expectations.
  • Build this information to enhance your product vision using well documented product briefs to capture the ever changing needs of customers and drive the prioritisation of these enhancements through our roadmap.
  • Undertake market research and competitor analysis to find and communicate solutions to large/complex business challenges that maintain our competitive advantage.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from conception through to product launch and ensuring that the go-to-market needs are met.
  • Work closely with peers in sales, Customer Success and software engineering to create a bridge between the market and delivery, ensure excellent communication channels at all levels.
  • Produce well documented business and functional requirements and input into technical requirements where required.
  • Document changes to product functionality and value for publication on developer portals, within marketing collateral and help tell the story of your product.
  • Work side-by-side with scrum-masters and development team leads to drive efficient and rapid delivery of product needs.
  • Work side-by-side with user researchers and product designers to better understand your customers, their experiences and expectations and use design to help solve challenges.
  • Facilitates communication across the organisation to maintain alignment on the current product state and vision. Ensures key stakeholders are aware of impacts and prioritisation required.
  • Produce high quality thought leadership material and participate in roundtables, customer events and produce blogs, social media notes and customer distribution.
  • Develop and deliver training to our sales organisations and Customer Success teams so they can best support their customers.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and guide regional product teams on product management best practices and enable these teams to reach maturity.

  • A minimum of 3 years product management experience or experience with starting up and running their own business.
  • A knowledge of payments technologies is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience within business focused on bringing customer facing products to market is preferable.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology field from a college or university, or comparable market experience or training.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting up to C-level executives.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment.
