Perform entertainment, marketing, PR and other consumer-oriented translations and reviews in the client-owned translation tool
Conduct research to ensure the best quality of delivery
Master or learn the tools associated with translation work
Precisely follow the established processes, e.g. always raise queries when there is a need to
Learn the style guide and overall client’s requirements, e.g. stylistic preferences
Improve based on the corrections made by the internal and the client reviewers
Participate in the error arbitration process
Meet the productivity KPIs
Take part in quality meetings
Constantly analyze own gaps and ask for support to address them

Responsibilities

Native fluency in German
Fluent in English (both written and spoken, in a wide range of registers)
Meet at least one of the following criteria, as per ISO standards:
A recognized graduate qualification in translation from an institution of higher education.
A recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus 2 years of full-time professional experience in translating.
5 years of full-time professional experience in translating.
Passion for pop culture and entertainment industry
Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Ability to give clear, concise and constructive feedback
Ability and willingness to train/teach others and pass on knowledge.
Ability to work within a remote team.
