Description

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 3+ Years of experience in consumer insight, research and customer analytics
  • Strong logical thinking, mathematical and statistical analysis, with knowledge of statistical techniques (multivariate data analysis, predictive modelling) preferred
  • Logical mind with strong business sense and able to analyze and consolidate data from various sources
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to drive projects from ideation through execution
  • Ability to understand customer data and communicate it in a concise and relevant way to various stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills, competent to present and share research findings to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a big plus.

 

 

Plus:

  • ​Experience in growing and scaling company growth or start up team experience
  • ​Experience in companies with global / regional presence with multiple offices across different countries

Responsibilities

  • Build research and insight capability for the company
  • Extract, visualize and analyze both internal and external customer data to understand customer behavior and business KPIs in order to drive performance 
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business (Marketing, Product, Teacher, and Tech teams) to incorporate insight and propose actionable opportunities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research not only with internal users but also non-italki users to better understand user behavior
  • Translate business issues into clearly defined market research objectives, and to provide insights and solutions for the issues
  • Leverage on market data and insights to support management in decision making and to facilitate marketing team to deliver a marketing campaign
  • Partner with agencies to design surveys targeting non-italki users and teachers
  • Be the owner of all market research projects, from planning to design conceptualization to developing insights
  • Assist cross-functional & regional teams as needed
