Description

Who are we?

Glad you asked! Zipcar is the world’s leading car-sharing network, found in urban areas and university campuses in more than 500 cities and towns. Our team is smart, creative and fun, and we’re driven by a mission – to enable simple and responsible urban living.

Being a Zipcar member gives you easy access to a car nearby without all the cost and hassle of owning one. Founded in 2000, Zipcar disrupted – or innovated – the traditional model of car ownership and independent studies show that Zipcar’s model of car sharing is proven to reduce vehicle ownership, freeing up more city space for people. Zipcar provides members with socially responsible, sustainable mobility options that support the global environment, their communities and city livability.

Zipcar is a subsidiary of Avis Budget Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CAR), a leading global provider of mobility solutions. For more information,

As Senior Product Manager, your responsibility is to drive member and business success for a key strategic aspect of our business- managing and supporting our member community. When members share a Zipcar, they share a responsibility to the community. You will develop new ways to ensure members find their vehicle in perfect condition at the start of their trip and return it on time, clean, fueled up, and damage-free, ready for the next member. You will also find new ways to anticipate and recover from issues that impact members when using a Zipcar. You’ll provide both strategic and tactical leadership throughout the product lifecycle, starting with initial customer discovery and product strategy definition and progressing to iterative solution testing. You’ll partner along the way with a stellar group of designers, developers, and marketers as well as support and operations teams tasked with delivering an excellent experience for all Zipcar members.
