Description
As a Materials Planner your primary responsibility will be to ensure production continuity through managing materials inventory and troubleshooting and carrying out routine maintenance and repair on machinery
Key responsibilities will include:
- Initiate and manage materials procurement
- Conduct stock quality control
- Manage relationships with suppliers including conflict resolution and providing vendor performance reports
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of production line machinery in line with safety procedures
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels
Responsibilities
- Previous experience in maintaining and repairing machinery is essential
- Experience in materials planning, warehouse and inventory management
- Ability to work independently and prioritise conflicting departmental demands
- Excellent organisational skills
